Final results in Secondary IV and V
At the end of the marking period for Secondary IV and V ministerial examinations, the Ministère de l’Éducation sends each student an achievement record by mail. The results can also be viewed on the student’s Online academic record.
Achievement records contain the final results for all subjects for which students must earn the credits required to obtain a Secondary School Diploma (SSD), even if there are no ministerial examinations for these subjects.
The final results shown on the achievement record may differ from those on the report card provided by the educational institution. The final result is calculated based on the mark obtained on the ministerial examination and the results given by the teacher (school mark) after moderation. However, when the mark obtained on the ministerial examination is higher than the school mark, the mark obtained on the ministerial examination is retained as the final result for the competency.
To successfully complete a subject and earn its related credits, the student must obtain a final result of 60% or higher.
