Training Certificates
Training Certificate for a Semiskilled Trade (TCST)
Upon the recommendation of the school board, a TCST is awarded to students who are enrolled in Training for a Semiskilled Trade in general education in the youth sector, or in Sociovocational Integration in general education in the adult sector, and who have:
- completed a minimum of 900 hours of training (including 450 hours of courses in general education and 450 hours of practical training
- successfully completed the practical training for the semiskilled trade (a minimum of 450 hours)
PreWork Training Certificate (PWTC)
Upon the recommendation of the school board, a PWTC is awarded to students who are enrolled in a PreWork Training program in general education in the youth sector, and who have:
- completed a minimum of 2700 hours of training
- successfully completed the Work Skills Education course (a minimum of 900 hours)
Training Certificate in the Sociovocational Integration of Adults (TCSIA)
Upon the recommendation of the school board, a TCSIA is awarded to students who are registered in the Sociovocational Integration of Adults program in general education in the adult sector, and who have:
- earned the presecondary credits in language of instruction, mathematics and second language
- successfully completed 900 hours of sociovocational integration training
