Prize for a Student in Vocational Training (French School Boards)
What would you suggest to encourage women to choose a traditionally male-dominated trade?
The Fédération des commissions scolaires du Québec (FCSQ) awards a cash prize of $2000 to a graduating student enrolled in a vocational training program offered within the French school board network.
Candidates for this prize must have completed their program of study before June 30, 2018.
In addition to the answers to the compulsory questions, the candidate’s application package must include the answers to the following questions (a maximum of one page):
- What steps do you think school boards should take to motivate young women to study in traditionally male-dominated fields?
- In your opinion, how can Québec society (or your vocational training centre) help female graduates of vocational training programs integrate into employment sectors dominated by men?
