Continuity Prizes (MEES)

For those who never interrupted their studies

The Ministère de l'Éducation et de l'Enseignement supérieur (MEES) awards two cash prizes of $2000, one to a student enrolled in vocational training and one to a student enrolled in technical training who have demonstrated continuity in their studies.

To demonstrate "continuity in their studies", candidates must have been enrolled, in the previous year, in general education in the youth or adult sector, in a vocational training program, in a pre-university program at the college level or in a technical training program.

In addition to the answers to the four mandatory questions, the candidate's portfolio must include a response to the following assignment (a maximum of one page):

  • During your uninterrupted studies, what were the different factors (educational, family-related or personal) or the information tools that guided you toward the program of studies that you chose?

To be eligible for this category, candidates must meet the general eligibility requirements and must be 19 years of age or under at the time of enrollment.
