Culture in the School, a Class Act!
You play a vital role in helping your students to discover the countless treasures to be found in the world of culture. To assist you, the Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur and the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications have been working closely together for the past several years to make a variety of tools and resources available.
No matter what subject you teach, the activities and resources suggested here have been designed to support and inspire you in carrying out stimulating projects—projects that focus on culture as a source of knowledge and learning.
Culture knows no boundaries; it can therefore be integrated into all school subjects, making learning more enjoyable and enriching for all students. Moreover, culture is not confined to the arts alone but extends into other areas of learning such as languages, professional and personal development, social sciences, mathematics, and science and technology.
Additionally, it has been shown that culture can create a strong sense of belonging in the school and contribute to student retention and the construction of students’ identities.
There are so many good reasons to integrate culture into schools!

- Suggested activities
Are you looking for an idea to help you integrate the cultural dimension into the subject you teach? The tools that were prepared for this purpose will still be available as sources of inspiration throughout the year.
