Language Assistants Program

In collaboration with its international partners, the Ministère is offering students at Québec universities positions as French language assistants in the United Kingdom, Germany and Mexico. Language assistants help second-language teachers, primarily French language teachers, in elementary and secondary schools or, sometimes, in colleges and universities. Placements are for eight or nine months (September 1 or October 1 to May 31 of the following year), depending on the host country. A monthly allowance, the exact amount of which is set by the host country and reviewed annually, is paid to the assistant by the host institution.
