Diplomas

The Ministère awards the diplomas of college studies (DCS).

The DCS is awarded to students who have complied with the conditions associated with their program of studies and those prescribed by the Regulation. Information on DCS that have been awarded is recorded in a database.

These diplomas are usually printed three to four months after the end of the last semester of studies. Before a diploma can be issued, the Minister must first receive a recommendation to that effect from the student’s college. The colleges transmit the diplomas to the students.

The Ministère provides several other services related to the issuance of the DCS:

• Duplicate diploma
• Certification of diploma awarded
• Confirmation of a college diploma
• Correction of information appearing on a diploma
• Authentication of official documents pertaining to college studies for use in another country
• Specimen signatures

The Ministère ensures that there is a constant concern for quality in the provision of these services, as stated in its Declaration of Services to Citizens .
